First Light Lamps Ltd. develops and manufactures laser lamps for solid state lasers. The product line comprises flash lamps for pulsed applications and arc lamps for CW operation of laser cavities. The company produces more than 800 different lamp types in a multitude of sizes and light outputs. Custom designs are available on request. Customers can choose among a variety of diameters, arc lengths, filling gases and pressures, shapes of electrodes and quartz materials. Moreover, lamps for IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) systems are available. IPL systems generate intense light pulses for epilation using flash lamps. The spectrum of a Xenon lamp is used to heat melanin of body hairs in order to remove them. |
