Heatsinks for semiconductors, in versions for both air and water cooling
Situated in Enköping, Sweden, very centrally in the Stockholm region near Arlanda Airport, AB WEBRA INDUSTRI specialises in the production of heatsinks for cooling electronic components and the manufacture of precision mechanical products. The company was founded in 1969 and has about 50 employees.
By working in close co-operation with ABB Webra has obtained the right to manufacture and sell a certain type of heatsink developed by them. The exclusive feature of this heatsink is that thyristors can be mounted on two sides.
Heatsink are often produced in co-operation with customers, and in most cases this results in better products and/or price-reducing simplified designs.
Of course, Webra also manufacture heatsinks exactly according to the wishes and specifications of the customer. All the heatsinks can also be matched to each customers specific needs and requirements.
Webra also manufactures a standard range of heatsinks and always has a large quantity of heatsink extruded sections in stock.
Its co-operation with other companies is not restricted to customers alone. Webra also works with technical universities in order to be able to produce even better products. The testing equipment in which Webra carries out thermal analyses and calculations is an important part of its product development.
At its disposal Webra has ultra-modern machinery which includes CNC machining centres, an automatic welding machine as well as laser and electronic welding all of which are prerequisites for manuafacturing high-quality products that conform to the expectations of customers.
The positive market reactions to its products show that its efforts has been appreciated. Among its customers can be found companies such as ABB, Siemens, IBM, Ericsson and Scania.
Its products are exported to some 10 countries, including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the USA and other countries as well as our Scandinavian neighbours.
