Caddock uses unique film and process technologies to create solutions for harsh environments, high power density, and long term stability. The product line consists of over 250 models.
Caddock has developed two families of resistance films, Micronox® and Tetrinox®:
Produced by firing complex oxide Micronox® resistance films onto ceramic substrate materials at temperatures above +1400°F (760°C), the resistor products include the following performance advantages: High power ratings of up to 100 watts, high voltage ratings of up to 48,000 volts, high continuous operating temperatures of up to +275°C and high stability (0.01% per 1000 hours in extended load life tests that have been run continuously for over 100,000 hours).
The Tetrinox® technologies have produced a broad family of resistor products with performance that includes ultra-low absolute temperature coefficients (from 25ppm/°C to as low as 5ppm/°C), ultra-low ratio temperature coefficients (from 25ppm/°C to as low as 2ppm/°C), ultra-precision with tolerances as close as ± 0.01%, as well as the same high voltage ratings and high stability as with the Micronox® films. |
