Company
Leclanché SA, founded 1909 in Yverdon-les-Bains is one of the few companies world-wide with a complete line of components for electricity storage. They are represented world-wide owing to an international partner and agency net. Leclanché has been ISO 9001 certified since 1991.
Their Capacitor Business Unit specializing in power
electronics and high-voltage applications, has been sold to the German group Fischer & Tausche Holding (F&T). This transaction is effective as of December 1, 2004 and transfers all activities including inventory, production equipment and personnel. The new entity will operate under a new name, Leclanché Capacitors Sàrl, and will be owned 100% by the group F&T. |
